Last week got my first iMax experience on Waterloo. It really is worth all the £14 for the ticket. The screen is just so massive. Went to see the movie Inception, which looked even better on that big screen It’s definitely worth it
I WANT MY MONEY BACK FROM IMAX!! I went yesterday (7 th Oct) to see the great movie Inception, with a friend that came from Spain just to see this movie in IMAX FORMAT, because in the website of IMAX of waterloo, they didn´t specify that this movie was not in Imax format, so…our first surprise was the movie in normal format, and in the office they explained us that was this format because the screen is square, and the movie is panoramic, so…As I told them, I understand this, but then DON´T SELL IT LIKE IMAX FORMAT!!!!! and the second great surprise, is that they don´t know how to clean the proyector, was just full of dust everywhere, and it was on all the screen during all the movie, it was so annoying. If you want to see this great movie, go to another cinema, with a better screen, more comfortable, and with a clean proyector.
Most movies these days are panoramic. I was on the 4th row from the front and I didn’t feel like the aspect ratio of the movie was bad. The projector bit is weird, and you should have complained at the box office for a refund.
