Looks like this guys have returned (finally) to it’s roots. Well, kind of.
The last album from Cradle of Filth is not as commercial as the last two (which is a good thing!), and their play style resembles old albums of theirs, like Midian and Dusk and Her Embrace. However, is not as heavy as Cruelty and the Beast for example.
Nevertheless, I got the special edition for £2.50 off amazon, which I consider a good deal. Let’s hope this guys will continue to walk away from the garbage that is pop metal and start doing good old dark metal music!
Finally this last Sunday was a bit sunny, so I tought it was a good oportunity to get the bike out of the back and go for a ride. A 18Km ride :p

So today I saw the 2012 movie.
After two and a half hours, I was expecting more: the first 30 – 45 minutes is just to fill the time. Not really important for the destruction that was coming soon. Then they still manage to put some family story in the middle, and of course, as usual, the Americans do all the hard work, and save themselves in the end.
I actually wonder, if we ever have to face destruction like on this ‘Doomsday’ movies, the Americans will probably be the first to perish!
Its a good movie to watch with the brain turned off. Other than that, there is just so many errors and cliches that will make things boring. I was even expecting more destruction, a Day After Tomorrow level of destruction. But well, was still an OK movie to watch on a Thursday evening.
Started the day today replacing the tires on my mountain bike. Almost ready for the rainy days, since I still need to get proper clothes and a new rear wheel. At lunch time, if time helps, is time to try the new tires.
