Who said Ubuntu isn’t the greatest? I had to make some data recovery from a computer that did not turn on.

Grabbing the hard drive and plugging into another computer did not help, since it did not boot up windows (not even on save mode). But no problem! Just put a Ubuntu cd on the drive, boot from it, and voila, full access to the hard drive contents.

Yes, another solution would be to use a caddy, but you have to pay for a caddy, and Ubuntu is free!

Well, yesterday was my birthday. Another year goes by and it did not start the best way. WIth some back problems I spend almost half a day at the hospital (and missed work), but finally managed to have some fun on the evening.

I’ve already lived a quarter of a century, and let’s hope the next quarter will be good as well.

For the first time in a long time, I went for a ride on my new bike.

I tought I was going to be in bad shape, but it was actually very easy to go around the block. Tomorrow I’ll go to work on it, to see how it goes

Let’s see if I can burn some of the fat I’ve been acumulating…

Today I got (finally) a bike to be able to commute.

Is a folding one, so if I fell tired I can always fold it ang get into the bus

Today was the day I finally removed windows from the laptop. From now, only ubuntu is installed on it. So far so good, I can still do all the things I did on windows, without having to spend 10GB only for the OS.

For the games there’s a little thing called consoles, so no problem there
